CONFIRMED EXHIBITORS

How do I know I'm confirmed as an Exhibitor?

You will receive an email that reads 'Exhibitor Confirmation' that includes an exhibitor fee due date and link.

Included in your 'Exhibitor Confirmation' email:

  • Registered Exhibitor Name (Use for Exhibitor Check-in)
  • Exhibitor Day
  • Exhibitor Fee Amount/Total
  • Exhibitor Fee Deadline
  • Etc...

What’s next after I receive my Exhibitor Confirmation?

Step 3 - Pay the exhibitor fee, via PayPal (sdzinefest@gmail.com). Fee 'Due Date' located in email, paid via PayPal. Use DONATION button located on our website. Please include your submitted/registered EXHIBITOR NAME when submitting your exhibitor fee, or we will not know who is submitting the funds. Step 3 is for confirmed exhibitors only.

Is for confirmed exhibitors only and is the final step in the application process. Fees for this years fest start at $15 and may go up to $25. Details including your 'Exhibitor Fee' total and 'Fee Deadline', are all included in your confirmation email. All confirmation emails have been sent.

All confirmed applicants that do not complete the application process or submit exhibitor fee, forfeit their spot to those on the Standby list. Please let us know if you would like to be removed from the Confirmed Exhibitor list.


EXHIBITOR DETAILS

Basic Exhibitor Information:

  • Tables & Chairs are provided.
  • Saturday & Sunday Exhibitor Check-in time: 11am to 11:45am.

  • Saturday & Sunday Exhibitor Hours: 12pm to 6pm.

  • Bring plenty of change (cash). Unfortunately we may not have enough cash to supply exhibitors with small change.
  • There’s a refrigerator located in the kitchen, available for staff & exhibitors.
  • There's a water fountain available near the bathrooms, please feel free to bring your water containers.
  • Food vendors will be present during the fest with vegan, vegetarian and non vegetarian options. 
  • Exhibitor Parking, located within walking distance.

EXHIBITOR CHECK-IN

There’s been a change to Saturday’s (SDZF) scheduled event time. Please read below.

What time is exhibitor check-in?

Exhibitor Check-In opens (both event days) at 11am and closes promptly at 11:45am. Please use your registered exhibitor name when checking-in.

There’s been a change to Saturday’s (SDZF) scheduled event time. There is another event taking place at Balboa Park the same weekend as the San Diego Zine Fest. Keeping this & the check-in time in mind, we’ve decided to change Saturday’s (SDZF) scheduled event time to 12pm - 6pm.

Exhibitors and vendors will have sufficient time to unload and find parking before the busy traffic begins. We hope the time change makes sense with the details behind it.

Exhibitor Unloading:

The Centro’s parking lot is part of the SDZF area. We will be using the Centro's driveway to unload fest related needs. Please, please, please do not block the driveway with parked cars. Please make plans to get dropped off or pull up as near as possible. We will have some (but limited amount of) utility carts on hand to help, if needed. Cart pick up & drop off will be at the SDZF main table, near the venues entrance. 

Parking:

Parking in Balboa Park lots is free. The closest parking lot to the SDZF is across the street, the Inspiration Point parking lot (on the east side of Park Blvd., between Presidents Way and the Balboa Park Activity Center). There are also numerous smaller lots throughout the Park.  There are electric car charging stations located in the Pan American Plaza, Fleet Science Center and San Diego Zoo parking lots. SHARING TABLES

All tables are shared/split between exhibitors. This allows us to work with the venue’s capacity and helps us to host more exhibitors.

How does the exhibitor table layout work?

The fest is sectioned out and within the sections we have a few reserved tables. The remaining tables are at a first come first serve basis.

If a table has a sign that reads reserved, has a name, or number on it, please do not sit or remove the sign. Thank you.

May I reserve the spot next to me?

If you would like to share the table (other table half/seat next to you) with another confirmed exhibitor, you may do so. We still need all exhibitors to check-in. During check-in we'll have reserved signs available if needed. You may either check yourself and the other exhibitor in or let them check themselves in. Either way picking your space location is up to both exhibitors.

Use the right 2 lanes to take   EXIT 16   to merge onto 10th Ave/Tenth Ave

Turn left onto A StREET

Continue straight to stay on A St

Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto Park Blvd

Make a U-Turn at Space Theater Way

Inspiration Point parking lot is located to your right, between Presidents Way and the Balboa Park Activity Center.
