Explore the magic of cyanotype, one of photography’s oldest printing processes. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll be given pre-coated cyanotype paper and be guided through the process of using sunlight to create beautiful blue prints.

Supplies will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own flowers, jewelry, lace, or film negatives (35mm, 120, or large format) to make your prints personal and unique.

You will leave with a finished print and the know-how to keep experimenting at home.

No prior experience is necessary—just bring a few digital photograph options that will be printed onto a Polaroid, along with your curiosity and creativity!

In this demo, Irie will walk you through the basics of linocut printmaking, share a little about its roots and how it connects to DIY publishing, and show you how to carve, ink, and print. You’ll even get to pull your own print on a tote, shirt, or journal to take home.
